Our Providers

Dr. VanVliet is a dedicated and experienced pediatrician with a passion for nurturing the health and wellbeing of children. She completed medical school at the University of Missouri-Columbia and her residency in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University.

Over the years, Dr. VanVliet has garnered extensive experience in various aspects of pediatrics and worked as a hospital pediatrician in the Fort Worth area for seven years. In 2022, she joined Pediatric Care Specialists, bringing her comprehensive expertise and patient-focused approach to the team.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. VanVliet is a committed educator. She has experience teaching and coaching students at various levels and feels that experience in education helps her to better serve her patients and their families.  She also values the importance of continuous learning and professional development in the medical field.

Dr. VanVliet has a particular love for pediatrics, stemming from her admiration for children's resilience and the joy she finds in their unique personalities.  She loves to watch them learn and grow and hopes she can play a small part in establishing healthy habits at a young age that contribute to lifelong health. She enjoys working closely with families, using a shared decision-making approach to ensure the best outcomes for her young patients. The remarkable nature of child development and the joy of watching them learn and grow are constant sources of inspiration for her.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. VanVliet cherishes spending time with her family and is an accomplished shuttle bus driver to their various sporting events.  In her spare time, she is an amateur gardener.

Dr. VanVliet is accepting new patients. Her days in office are: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday.
